Innovation Grants Home

We are in the process of posting the 2012-13 innovation projects on this wiki. You can find them by using the 2012-13 tag above in the header or follow this link. Also, innovation projects for the 2011-12 school year can be found here, and for 2010-11 you can search here. Alternatively, you can use either the search function in the upper-right, or click on one of the tags near the top that interests you. The projects from 2009-10 will be moved to this site at some time in the future as well.

Who is eligible? Any teacher within the Canby School District is eligible to apply and be awarded this grant-- even if you received the grant during any of the 2008-2012 school years.

What would the grant cover? The grant funds INNOVATIVE and EMERGING technologies for curriculum and standards-based projects! Could you take your curriculum even further if you had new equipment or additional technical support? You tell us! Successful grant proposals will demonstrate creative approaches to integrating new technology and research, exploration, creative thinking and more. The committee is looking for projects with quantifiable or qualifiable results that could be duplicated -- in other words, if another teacher got the same stuff, could s/he do the same thing? The grants fund a maximum of $2,000 per project for individual grants, more for classroom and school grants.
